烧结普通砖即有一定的强度，又有较好的隔热、隔声性能，冬季室内墙面不会出现结露现象，而且价格低廉。虽然不断出现各种新的墙体材料，但烧结砖在今后一段时间内，仍会作为一种主要材料用于砌筑工程中。
